It found the way out. We could not follow its reasoning.

An operator typo, n =+ 1, assigns positive 1 on every pass instead of advancing the counter. The loop repeats 1. In Manual, broken files and alarms make the person anxious. Automatic changes the line to n += 1, producing 1, 2, 3 and finishing, and orders an AI-to-AI exchange. The person becomes exhausted and disappointed, without understanding the solution. Returning to Manual restores the fault and anxiety.
